I never once hated any of Xbox's polices. I saw the innovation in them. To allow family sharing to 2 people at a time for one game a DRM check must be in place(which digital is the future). To promise developers cloud computing, an always online system must be guaranteed for it to be a safe investment. For developers to safely mix motion and voice control or make kenict games non low budget like it is now, the system must guarantee kenict will be there for it to be safe investment. Developers wont make high dollar or even decide to go that direction unless there's a large enough consumer base. That what Xbox one's polices did.
